- Fresh impeachment petition has been filed against EC boss, Charlotte Osei
- The petition is reported to have been filed at the presidency
It has emerged that yet another impeachment petition against the electoral commissioner, Charlotte Osei, has reportedly been filed.
Daily Guide is reporting that this very petition was filed by a "concerned Ghanaian" who is seeking to find answers over the alleged corrupt practices of the EC boss.
According to the news report, this petition was filed at the seat of government yet to be made official to the public.
YEN is yet to confirm or deny this report but what we can report is that the Chief Justice has currently ordered for the previous petition filed against Charlotte Osei to be investigated.
This petition, filed by unknown workers of the commission, has raised concerns over how the EC boss procured voting materials without the consent of the board not forgetting her alleged sour relationship with other deputy commissioners.
Meanwhile, Charlotte Osei has maintained that she remains resolute in discharging her duties as EC boss despite the allegations and petition of impeachment filed against her.
