- Nana Addo continue to reiterate his promise to create wealth
- He is convinced that reduction in the cost of doing business will stimulate growth in enterpreneurship
President Nana Akufo-Addo has promised that his government will do its best to create a business friendly environment in order to stimulate the creation of jobs for all Ghanaians.
According to him reducing the cost of doing business in the country is fundamental to the progress of the nation.
Despite admitting that unemployment has been a major challenge for government over the years, the President believes creating a business friendly environment will help pull more investment into the country.

In his view, the best way to promote entrepreneurship in the country is to empower people to establish businesses by putting in place policies that are "business friendly".
“You all know in Ghana the widespread unemployment is the greatest threat to our future stability and social coherence," President Akufo-Addo said while speaking at the Africa Business and Kingdom Leadership Summit held in Accra.
“Our preoccupation over the last seven months is to put in place programmes and policies geared towards building the most business friendly economy in Africa to be a magnet for investment."
He added that his government was in the process of "establishing development policy framework that will help businesses expand and create jobs with a view also to promoting the growth and development of entrepreneurship".
According to him, Ghana can learn from other countries who have built their economies based on the private sector.
This, he said, will help "promote a conducive and business friendly environment in our country".
He challenged Ghanaians to have "entrepreneurial spirit", saying it would also help to extensively build wealth for the nation.
