-Black Stars international player Ebenezer Ofori has been the latest victim of armed robbery attacks at his residence
-It is believed that some 7 robbers ransacked the house and took away a vehicle and valuables
-The player was in training camp with his teammates when the incident occurred
News reaching YEN.com.gh from a report by Ghanasoccernet.com indicate that Ghanaian international footballer, Ebenezer Ofori has had his house at Haatso, a suburb of Accra, ransacked by armed robbers.
The incident which occurred in the early hours of today has thrown the footballer into a state of shock. It is reported that the robbers plundered the house and made away with a White Range Rover Sports car with registration number GR- 2026-17.
The robbers also stole many valuables from the residence of the footballer who plays in midfield for the country.
The robbery incident has warranted the 22-year old VfL Stuttgart player to be excused from the camp of the Senior National Team to attend to the matter at hand.
He is however expected to join the team later tonight to join the flight for the return World Cup 2018 qualifiers match against Congo in Brazzaville.
The former New Edubiase United midfielder featured in the full game for the Black Stars against Congo in the first round of matches which was played in Kumasi at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. The match ended with each country scoring a goal.
