A miracle baby who weighed just 340g and measured 18cm at birth has defied the odds and is now a healthy teenager.

Aaliyah Hart was born premature in 2003 and was so small that she was dubbed the smallest baby in Britain.

At the time of her birth, her lungs were undeveloped and doctors therefore gave her just a one percent chance or survival.

She however miraculously survived. In an interview, she said she naturally cannot remember what the fuss was all about and it didn't affect her.

She added: "It was a shock when I saw the clothes I used to wear as a baby. They look like they would be small enough to fit a doll."
