- Paul Adom Otchere has defended his comments on Manasseh Azuri made on the Good Evening Ghana show
- He says a social media analysis shows that 62 percent of Ghanaians on social media support his comments
Broadcast journalist, Mr. Paul Adom Otchere, host of Metro TV's Good Evening Ghana, has defended himself from criticism by members of the general public who've said that Mr. Otchere has been compromised.
Last night, Metro TV show host Paul Adom Otchere launch into an extensive verbal tirade in defense of the Jospong Group of Companies and also attacking investigative journalist, Manasseh Azuri Awuni for making several allegations that - according to Mr. Otchere - he could not back with evidence.
Speaking with 3FM's Kwakye-Nuamah on the Midday news, Paul Adom Otchere vehemently defended his course of action even though many Ghanaians took to social media to condemn his attack on Manasseh Azuri Awuni. Some Ghanaians suggested that Paul Otchere's objectivity has been compromised.
“...how can I be compromised and how have I been compromised?... We have looked at all of social media and the support is more. It is looking like a 62 % support. We have done a data analysis of what happened so we are cool with it.” said Pau Adom Otchere.
Paul Adom Otchere's verbal onslaught comes in the wake of a Facebook post shared by Manasseh Azuri Awuni, where the investigative journalist questioned why Paul Adom Otchere was distributing the Ghana Journalists Association's press release to media houses.
