- Abronye DC is saying A Plus must produce overwhelming evidence else he will be in trouble
- He says even apologies will not save him if his allegations turns out to be falsehood
An outspoken member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe widely known as Abronye DC, has disclosed that the entire machinery of the party will be channeled in support of Kwame Asare Obeng aka A Plus, if it turns out that he has overwhelming evidence to back his corruption allegations.
According to him, though he doubt if A Plus can prove any of the allegations, but he will not hesitate to rally behind him if he proves otherwise.
Speaking on Accra-based Okay FM, Abronye DC submitted that musician A Plus only insults government appointees and resorts to naming calling when he’s not getting job from government.
He insisted that the controversial musician has now subjected himself into more troubles and does not have any option but look for evidence to back his wild corruption allegations.
Speaking in his conversation, the NPP man indicated that even apologies will not save A Plus, if it turns out he peddled falsehood against the two deputy Chiefs of Staff of the Akufo-Addo government.
“If he wants to render an apology, he must do it directly and stop making it covertly. He should bring out the evidence to back his claims and we will support him otherwise there is no way he can say all these things about the two and get away with it”, he emphasized.
Kwame Asare Obeng in few weeks ago made some damning allegations against two Presidential Staffers, Samuel Abu Jinapor and Francis Asenso-Boakye.
The musician on his Facebook page labeled the two Akufo-Addo appointees as the most corrupt elements warming chairs at the Flagstaff House.
President Akufo-Addo ordered full-scale investigations by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service into the musician’s allegations.
A Plus, who had earlier on made U-turn on his claims after an invitation by the CID, yesterday resurfaced to opened more fire, threatening to ‘deal’ with some more NPP top officials.
