After the massive 5-nil win against Congo, fans of the national team have been drawing their own mathematical conclusions on the high probability of the Stars securing a place in the World Cup but Songo says Ghana's dream of qualifying got dashed when the Black Stars first drew to Congo.

“Everyone should forget about the 5-1 victory over Congo yesterday. That result is inconsequential as far as our qualification is concerned. People should stop the nonsense calculations because we will not qualify. We ruined our chances with that draw against Congo last Friday," he revealed on Starr Chat with Bola Ray.

Meanwhile, Ghana will jet off to Kampala to take on Uganda on 7th October, 2017. The Black Stars should pick all the maximum points in that tie and expect a draw from the Egypt-Congo tie.
