Popularly known as Countryman Songo, the sports pundit opined Mr. Asiamah did not have the required knowledge to effectively manage the sports affairs in the country.

In an interview with Starr FM’s Bola Ray on Wednesday, Songo said the minister did more of talking and less of actual work.

He stated the Sports Minister is likely to be a problem for the Akufo-Addo administration.

Countryman Songo who is a known critic of the Black Stars, was livid about their performance in the home match against Congo.

Even though the team redeemed themselves on Tuesday, Songo still has reservations about the players, especially striker Asamoah Gyan.

He has lambasted the senior national team on countless occasions, going further to label them as ‘fools’.

Countryman Songo further demanded that football experts cease their numerous calculations to prove that the Black Stars qualified for the 2018 World Cup, as there is no hope for the national team.
