Award-winning Gospel artist Mercy Twum-Ampofo, popularly by her stage name Ohemaa Mercy has just turned 40 years old.
Ohemaa Mercy is one of Ghana’s noted gospel musicians, whose praise and worship songs have captured the hearts of many Christian and non-Christian Ghanaians over the years.
The singer first launched onto the gospel music scene in November 2004 with her first studio album, Adamfo Papa.
Since then, Ohemaa has filled up Ghanaian souls with her moving, faith-increasing songs such as Aseda, Yesu Mogya, and Biribi Besi among others.
Ohemaa took to her Instagram page to offer gratitude to God for her life and all the goodness surrounding her.
“Thank you for counting me worthy to show forth your glory in this generation. I cannot thank you enough for sustaining my life and making your word stand when men sometimes can wish for my death and disgrace. Family help me say "this God is too Good" . I bless you who have stood with me all this while and prayed with me. I pour out my heart this special day to the one who has made me who I am to reach you at the point of your need in Jesus name. Amen…” she wrote.
Ohemaa Mercy is married to Isaac Twum-Ampofo and the happy couple are blessed with three sons.
