In the last nine months there's been several instances where a particular person's comment, or action polarized Ghanaian popular opinion either for, or against the person.
Since collating all individuals who've outraged Ghanaians and drove to some shake their fists in frustration at their televisions (or mobile phones) would've been too long a list, YEN.com.gh decided to narrow the field down to six Ghanaians vying for the position of most hated Ghanaians.
1. Lawrence Abrokwah
Probably the most disliked Ghanaian currently, Lawrence Abrokwah, estranged husband of comedian Afia Schwarzenegger's release of a scandalous video where he caught his wife in bed with another man seems to have turned him into the most hated person in the country, instead of vindicating him as a man who's wife has been unfaithful.
2. Afia Schwarzenegger
Though arguably one who's always occupied a position similar charts for many Ghanaians, Afia Schwarzenegger's recent predicament will most likely catapult her to the top yet again. Though many agree that the release of her video was uncalled for, many more have pointed that she was definitely caught "red-handed" doing something that a married shouldn't have been doing.

3. William Quaitoo
After making certain offensive ethnocentric comments on live radio, former deputy minister for food and agriculture and MP for Akim Oda, Hon. William Quaitoo ended up handing in his resignation after civil society groups and Ghanaians at large mounted stern pressure for the former presidential appointee to be dismissed.
4. Joseph Siaw Agyapong
Mr. Joseph Siaw Agyapong, owner of the Jospong Group of Companies, has recently been in the news most notably for his company's alleged involved in a string of damaging allegations that may prove to have cost the Ghanaian taxpayer millions of cedis.

5. Paul Adom Otchere
Paul Adom Otchere, host of Good Evening Ghana, recently earned his position on YEN's list when he took time out of his show to verbally attack investigative journalist, Manasseh Azuri Awuni, after the journalist shared a comment on his social media profile questioning his affiliation with the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA).
"Dr." Caleb Afaglo
Though Dr. Afaglo has been more mocked (and sometimes admired) for allegedly being able to rise to some the highest echelons by using fake academic certificates, some Ghanaians have expressed real dislike for the man due to whatever role he may have played in causing SSNIT to waste millions on software that turned out to be useless.
