Maurice Ampaw indicated that anyone who bad-mouthed his client would suffer a similar fate. Speaking in an interview with Kofi TV, the lawyer indicated that many Ghanaians attacking his client might have reacted in ‘worst’ manner if they had been in his client’s shoes.
He added that his client was not to be blamed for the leaked video because it has yet to be ascertained who leaked the video to the public. The lawyer added that Mr. Lawrence Abrokwah shared the video with the police, his lawyer and Afia Schwarzenegger’s father.
He called on Afia Schwarzenegger to drop all the charges she has brought against her husband and enter into an Alternative Dispute Resolution with them by settling matters at home because the two were still legally married to each other.
He however indicated that Afia Schwarzenegger, acting on her emotions revealed that she was going to 'jail' her husband. A call which Maurice Ampaw says might not happen. He said he was willing to settle the matter at home after looking at the evidence but if Afia wanted a legal battle, he was equally prepared for it.
Some days ago, a video of an alleged extramarital affair involving TV show hostess, Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa, popularly known in showbiz as Afia Schwarzenegger was let out into the public space and it has generated a lot of discussions.
Some female celebrities have jumped to the support of the actress and have castigated her husband for allegedly being behind the leaking of the video. Lawyer of the client, Maurice Ampaw however begs to differ on the matter and has indicated that most people would have done worse things should they have caught their partners in bed with someone else.
The matter is currently before the law courts and a determination of the actions that have ensued in these past few days would likely be settled in court.
Afia Schwarzenegger and Lawrence Abrokwah got married in South Africa in October last year and they have been living happily together until the alleged issue of the TV personality’s infidelity emerged.
