Afia Schwar laments the slow pace of 'justice' after her leaked video saga

Self-acclaimed queen of Ghana comedy and embattled wife of Lawrence Abrokwah, Afia Schwarzenegger, known in real life as Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa has bemoaned the rate at which ‘justice’ is being delayed after her leaked video hit social media.

Speaking with Anita Erskine at her residence, the TV personality lamented that if it had been any other woman who had gone through what she had gone through, the security agencies and media houses would be up and doing to ensure that perpetrators were sanctioned.

Recounting the details of the visit on her Facebook page, Anita Erskine indicated that Afia Schwarzenegger shed tears when she narrated her ordeal.

Anita Erskine questioned why the necessary agencies were so ‘silent’ on Afia’s case despite the damaging repercussions they might have on her person.

Anita Erskine, in showing support to her fellow woman and colleague indicated that Afia’s body was hers and she had every right to have her own choices just like any other person.

She also bemoaned the way the actress was made a laughing stock even though her situation bothered on domestic violence and an infringement of her rights as a woman.

The Starr FM presenter said that there should not be disparities in the way we deal with people regardless of “how overtly and overly boisterous, seemingly nonchalant” they may seem.

Last week, a video involving Afia Schwarzenegger reportedly having an extramarital affair was leaked to the public. After the video leak, many women have risen up in arms and thrown their weight behind Afia Schwarzenegger and calling the act ‘unacceptable’.

Actress Gloria Sarfo in an Instagram post warned women to be wary of the men they allowed in their lives. Founder and leader of Ebenezer Miracle Worship Center, Ebenezer Adarkwa Yiadom also defended Afia Schwarzenegger and encouraged her to give thanks to God because the worse might have happened.
