With the launch of the Free Senior High School Policy by President Nana Akufo-Addo today, many stakeholders have expressed appreciation and support to the program, which is aimed at making secondary level education accessible to all.
Actor Van Vicker commended government for the policy and expressed his support for the goals it hopes to achieve.
In a post via his Instagram page, the actor uploaded a photo of his wife, Adjoa Vicker holding a sign that read ‘Free SHS is here.’
Van Vicker captioned the post: “I have a tremendous air of expectancy. I support FREE SHS, it's a worthy cause. An ace effort for mother Ghana. #thebiggerpicture #Ghana #vanvicker #ygf.”
Van Vicker is not the only Ghanaian celebrity to express support for the Free SHS policy, as musician Mzbel also lauded government for the initiative.
The singer who posted on Facebook, a photo of herself and her son coming from an enrolling process at Achimota School, stated the policy is true and in full force.
