If you meet Shreyash Barmate for the first time, you would be forgiven for mistaking him for someone’s grandfather. For your information, he is only 11 years old.
Barmate, who comes from Madhya Pradesh, India, suffers from an extremely rare condition known as Progeria. Experts say this condition affects a paltry 150 kids in the world.

Unfortunately, Progeria is incurable and victims die at around 13 years of age on average. This means Barmate has two years left to live. But despite how scary that sounds, the boy still wants to live a normal life and even has dreams.
“I am aware of my condition. I am okay with it because there is nothing I can do. But the condition has not thwarted my dream of becoming a singer,” he told The Sun.
His dad, Arvind Barmate, says he is a talented singer , can play instruments and his condition has never held him back.
