Tension continues to mount at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra after a stray bullet shockingly hit a laboratory technician on his line of duty.

The strange bullet is reported to have been felt in the shoulders of the technician just seconds after he got shot.
Surgeons at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital spent Monday night trying to retrieve a bullet from the shoulder of a laboratory technician after he was shot by an unknown person.
Speaking to the media on this development, spokesperson for the hospital, Mustapha Salifu narrated that; “He [ the victim] was in the office with another colleague – that was shortly after 2pm – and he said he felt something has hit him.So he asked his colleague to check and when they checked they saw that he was indeed hit by a bullet."
Checks by YEN.com.gh indicates that the stray bullet had passed through the curtain of the laboratory where the technician was working.
Meanwhile, police officials and the internal security of the hospital are currently embarking on intense investigation over the development.
