Earlier this month the story of one Sebastian Roy Osumanu, an alumnus of University of Cape Coast, broke online.
He had allegedly graduated from the University of Amsterdam with a Ph.D. in Economics and also took home 5 awards at the ceremony.
This great achievement by a Ghanaian lead to many citizens raining praise on him and giving him a tap on the back.
But almost a week after the report first broke one media house, Pulse Ghana has come out to claim that Sebastian story is a lie and he lied to Ghanaians using the magic of Photoshop.
The media house claims to have contacted the University of Amsterdam's Public Relations office where the officer in charge said they had no record of such a student in the University.
Again though Sebastian claimed he graduated on 1st September 2017, according to the University, they were on recess on that day so couldn't have held a graduation ceremony.
The photos that were also posted to back Sebastian claim that he indeed graduated from the University have been proven to be fake.
The confident trickster Sebastian is said to have stolen the pictures from one graduation ceremony from the University of Rochester and placed himself there.
The story of his massive achievement cannot be found at the University of Amsterdam's website but only on the website of UCC.
In fact Sebastian story has been crashed so bad that we don't think he can recover from this devastating humiliation.
He, however, claimed that he indeed graduated from the University of Amsterdam but he is unable to prove it because he is in Turkey but when he returns to Holland he will come and prove us wrong.
So we are waiting on him
