- NDC is calling on government be wary of Ghana's economy in the wake of its "lavish policies"
- Koku Anyodohu predicts a possible collapse of the economy if the cost factor of these policies are not reviewed
The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is of the view that the various "lavish policies" by government could weaken the economy of Ghana.
Government has recently launched the planting for food and jobs and free SHS policies but deputy general secretary of the party, Koku Anyidohu is worried these policies, which demand a huge capital injection could collapse the economic foundation of the country.
Speaking on Neat FM's morning show, Koku Anyidohu makes a case that the "their kind of socialism they are practicing will bring chaos to this country”.
Meanwhile, Nana Addo has maintained that the various policies meant for Ghanaians form part of government's plans to equally distribute wealth to all citizens saying that wealth creation begins when social interventions are placed first among the rest.
