Ghanaian dance hall artist Charles Nii Armah, popularly known as Shatta Wale, has revealed that he's been featured on a German arts and culture magazine.
Judging from one of Shatta Wale's recent Facebook posts, it seems as though the days when the dance hall artist's critics could comfortably call Ghana's self-proclaimed dance hall king only an "area champion" are now passed.
In one of his latest posts, Shatta Wale revealed that he's been featured on Riddim Magazine, an arts and culture publication available both in the German, and English language.

Regardless of how many hit songs he's produced over the years, Shatta Wale's critics have repeated referred to him as an "area champion". According to his critics, though many of his songs have done very well in Ghana, he nevertheless received very little recognition beyond Ghanaian borders.
