A group of NPP members have attacked the Sagnarigu District Assembly in the Northern Region leaving the property which houses the office of the district assembly in tatters.

YEN.com.gh understands that the DCE, Iddrisu Marriama, was the target of the attack as she had been threatened with death threats.
"Police have proceeded to the residence of the DCE to ascertain who indeed threatened her. Our investigations have started very intensely," Spokesperson for the Northern Regional Police ASP Yussif Tanko has revealed to Joy FM.
The attack by these NPP youth are said to have seen several workers at the DCE's office attacks with others securing some levels of injury.
Meanwhile, Joy FM is reporting that the youth, claimed to be NPP members belonging to the vigilante group called Kandahar Boys had mounted this attack all because of disagreements related to the school feeding program.
