One of Ghana’s most respected journalists, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako, has described resident Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo as the next Kwame Nkrumah of Ghana.
In his opinion, the Free Senior High School (Free SHS) programme was important, because every child would now have the chance to attain SHS education.
He added that even though Ghana’s largest opposition party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) had raised concerns about the policy, it could be create enormous opportunities for Ghana if managed properly.
He went on to say that the policy is likely to raise lots of revenue for the country.
All that is needed, he said, are focus, commitment and dedication.
