- Chelsea striker Diego Costa has moved to Spanish capital Madrid to force a move to Atletico
- The fierce Spanish attacker could be on his way to Saudi Arabia on a loan move
- Costa has been AWOL since he was told by Antonio Conte that he is not a part of his plans
Unsettled Chelsea striker Diego Costa could reportedly be heading to Saudi Arabia side Al Hilal when he completes his £53million move to Atletico Madrid.
The controversial striker is back in the Spanish capital and Daily Mail are reporting that Costa could be shipped out to Saudi club Al Hilal on loan as he cannot play until January.
Costa landed in Madrid yesterday and has told Chelsea chiefs he will stay there until his switch is completed, according to reports by AS.
The move is said to be the Spanish international’s way of putting pressure on the Blues to hurry along a deal.
Costa has been AWOL from Stamford Bridge and he has been accumulating fines by the club in the process.
The former Atletico Madrid star has refused to come back and clean out his locker.
Costa joined Chelsea from the Spanish giants Atletico Madrid four years ago for £32million and has bagged 58 goals in 109 appearances.
Los Rojiblancos hope to conclude a deal in the coming days that allows Costa to train with the Diego Simeone’s squad and be fit and ready to go when the club’s transfer ban is lifted.
