Jerry John Rawlings storms Flagstaff House with brilliant students to meet Nana Addo

Former president of Ghana, Jerry John Rawlings was at the Flagstaff House together with some young female Ghanaian students who made the country proud in Ukraine.

The visit on on Tuesday evening was reportedly to meet with President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

The students, who were from the Mamfe Methodist Girls Senior High School in the Eastern Region, were accompanied by the former president, Jerry John Rawlings.

Eunice Hinson, Belinda Addy and Abena Frimpomaa Ewusi, represented Ghana in the just-ended Students for the Advancement of Global Entrepreneurship (SAGE) world cup competition.

They had the chance to participate in the event after emerging winners in the national contest in Ghana.

They placed 5th out of the 30 countries spread across the world that participated in the competition.

The students who were also accompanied by the headmistress of the Mamfe Girls’ SHS, Sylvia Isabella Laryea to the presidency said they have observed that the country has an issue of poor waste management.

They, therefore, came up with new ways of managing the situation.

To have you doing what you are doing; bringing glory to our country; you go to a place as far as Ukraine and win one of the best competition award, that’s tremendous and we all have to thank you very much," Nana Addo told the young ladies.
