Premier League campaigners Manchester United have been hit with a severe blow following the injury of Frenchman Paul Pogba who has been ruled out for four weeks.
Pogba has been in superb form for Manchester United this season, and he picked the injury in the Red Devils' impressive win over Basel in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.
A scan has been carried out on his injury, and it has been confirmed that the former Juventus star will be out of action for United for a month.
Manchester United will travel to Anfield on October 14, 2017 to face Premier League rivals Liverpool, and United handler Jose Mourinho hopes Pogba will be fit for the encounter.
''We have not gone far in the campaign, and I need all my players to be in top form ahead of our next games and I believe Pogba will be fit for the trip to Anfield,'' Jose Mourinho explained.
