Budding Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson has reached out to her female fans in an attempt to give back to them if they are able to mention all five movies from her production house, YN Productions.
The actress shared a cute photo of herself while having fun at the beach and captioned it, “Hey laaaadies, this one is for you, I'm giving away 5 dresses from my shop to 5 lucky ladies. Answer this question correctly and pick up ANY dress of your choice ( NAME ALL 5 MOVIES PRODUCED BY @ynproductionsgh ) will pick winners randomly good luck”.
The actress has been in the news recently after having announced that she had started a campaign to revive the almost-defunct Ghana movie industry. What the actress aims to achieve is to garner signatures from as many people who have a stake in the Ghanaian movie industry to be able to send a message to the government that something needs to be done.
In reacting to the move by the young actress, veteran actress Akorfa Edjeani lauded the initiative taken by the “Heels and Sneakers” maker. She however sent an advice to Yvonne to ensure that the aim of her campaign is achieved by getting the bodies that matter to act toward reviving the movie industry.
Akorfa Edjeani admonished the “Dumsor Must Stop” convener to be proactive because garnering signatures alone was not enough to ‘resurrect’ the movie industry.
