- A group of Ghanaians are set to stage a protest against Nana Addo in the US.
- The group is expected to demonstrate against what they believe to be security threat Nana Addo poses to Ghana
YEN.com.gh is gathering that a group of Ghanaians is set to stage a huge protest against president of the republic, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo especially as he heads to New York for a UN summit.
Information we are gathering is that the demonstration will be organised by "The Save Mahama Campaign" on Thursday, September 21st 2017 at the Dag Hammarskjold Plaza East at the 47th and 1st street.
The demonstration which will be themed; "Ghana is not safe under Nana Addo's government" will see Ghanaians in the U.S.A for NDC.
The demonstration comes in sharp coincidence with Nana's presence at the UN as he attends the General Assembly in the UN.
While in the US, the president will engage in a series of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) meetings in his capacity as Co-Chair of the Advocacy Group of Eminent Persons for the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
President Akufo-Addo will also deliver a speech on the theme ‘Africa Beyond Aid’ at the 5th Annual International Conference on Sustainable Development, at the Earth Institute, Columbia University.
