YEN.com.gh reports of how Nana Addo has charged African leaders to stay out of aid if they want to develop their countries.
President of the republic, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo has made the case for African leaders to move away from the mentality of receiving aid from donor partners.
Speaking at the World Leader Forum at the 5th Annual International Conference at New York, Nana Addo argued that Africa can no longer build a prosperous and Progressive continent with aid.
"Truth be told, the full implementation of the SDGs in Africa cannot be done with a mindset of dependence," he revealed.
The President is in the USA to join his colleague leaders from 193 member States of the UN for the 72nd UN General Assembly in New York.
