It is alleged that the said artiste (name withheld) took copies of Blessing’s newly outdoored album, ‘Agyebum’, as well as five photos to three shrines at Suhum, Techiman and Sunyani.
The plan was for rituals to be conducted, in a bid to end Blessing’s career.
A person by the name Nana Tuffour allegedly revealed that he contacted a friend of his, who is a fetish priest, in order to establish the truth or otherwise of the story.
He added that the priest confirmed receipt of a request from a Gospel musician to destroy Blessing’s career.
The priest however assured Tuffuor of his decision to rescind from carrying out the act. He has further pledged to contact his colleague priests, in order to advise them against the act.
Reacting to the story, Blessing’s husband, Dave Joy stated that she had done nothing to deserve this. He however expressed his faith in God to see them through.
