Controversial marriage counselor and life coach, Counsellor George Lutterodt despite backlash coming his way regarding his comments on the marriage of Nana Ama McBrown has still maintained his earlier assertion.
Speaking in an interview on Accra-based Adom FM, the counsellor indicated that the marriage between a lady who is older than her husband is bound to have challenges. He indicated that it was not right for such a combination to be allowed to take place.
He indicated that people were afraid to say it as it is but he was sure of what he was saying. He added that it is was not going to be easy for an older woman to be submissive to a young man in marriage. He said that all marriages in which the wife was more than 7 years older than her husband was a marriage in jeopardy.
He continued to say that such marriages were only managing to ‘stay afloat’ because one person in the marriage was sacrificing to unsure that the marriage does not break.
He however indicated that if the age difference was not what was in the public domain and only a fabrication, the marriage was not going to collapse.
Some time ago, the Counsellor was reported to have indicated that the next relationship to fail after the break up between Kofi Adjorlolo and Victoria Lebene Mekpah was going to be that of Nana Ama McBrown and her husband Maxwell Mensah. He gave his reason for the collapse as the age difference between the married couple.
After that comment was passed, Nana Ama McBrown responded to the counsellor’s claim with a video of herself cruising in a plush car with her husband; indicating that her marriage was never going to collapse like the counsellor was predicting.
Counsellor Lutterodt prides himself as the one responsible for the break-up between Lebene and Ajorlolo and was sure of what he was saying in reference to the marriage of the Kumawood actress.
