Kumawood actor and now musician, Kojo Nkansah, better known as Lil Win, has reacted to rumors that he was on an elaborate plan to pull down colleague actress Nana Ama Mcbrown in the movie industry.
The actor has been under attack recently for several reasons including his supposed theft of Patapaa's hit song, "One Corner".
In an interview reacting to the rumors, Lil Win stated that, contrary to the reports, he had never thought of planting someone into Kumawood to pull Nana Ama McBrown down.
While speaking with the Kumasi-based radio station, Angel FM, Lil Win stated the accounts of Sandra Ababio against him were all false.
Sandra Ababio had earlier revealed that Lil Win was a thief who steals from people to make his career worthwhile and that he (Lil Win) planted Sandra Ababio in Kumawood movies to destroy Nana Ama Mcbrown.
Lil Win in his denial stated that, "Nana Ama McBrown is so blessed and I can never do that to her.No one can bring her down and neither can I. I can never think of such a thing".
"She is versatile, she can fit into any role and that no one can bring her down—She is just like me."
But the actor added that he had indeed met with Sandra Ababio and promised to help her get more roles in Kumawood.
He revealed that he met Sandra while on the set of Cocoa Brown.
"I got her number, I called and called but she refused to pick my calls until one day," he said.
He also revealed that Sandra Ababio had been acting for nothing in Kumawood. "Do you know she has never been paid since she (Sandra) started acting in Kumawood?” the actor emphasized.
