- Arsene Wenger's interest in Raheem Sterling will be revived in the January transfer window
- Manchester City want to sign Alexis Sanchez but Wenger wants Sterling in a swap deal
- The Citizens will however have to battle United for Sanchez with Jose Mourinho admitting interest
Arsenal are going to revive their interest in Raheem Sterling in January with the Englishman to move to the Emirates in a swap deal as Alexis Sanchez joins Manchester City.
Wenger wanted to sign the 22-year-old last summer after learning that City wanted to sign Sanchez but Pep Guardiola did not want to sell.
The Mirror reports that the interest in the Englishman will be revived in January although Wenger will not have a strong bargaining position.
City will be losing a far younger player than Sanchez who is 28-years-old and would want to ask for a record fee for the former Golden Boy winner.
Manchester United are also keeping an eye on the Chilean’s situation at Arsenal with Jose Mourinho identifying the player to take the club forward.
