A 70-year-old physically challenged beggar in Bangladesh has praised the kindhearted man who donates food and money to poor people like him.
Hafej Ajim Uddin was pictured by photojournalist GMB Akash sitting along a railway track waiting for the generous donor named Hazi Saheb.
Akash shared the photo and Hafej's story on his Facebook page. Hafej began his story by saying: "I wonder if there are still people like our generous Hazi Saheb. I never met anybody like him in my entire life."
He continued: "Every week we wait for this sacred Friday. Every Friday we come from different places to join this special invitation. All of us are beggars and physically challenged."
He added that Hazi provides them food and money for their train fare back. Hazi has been doing that for four years since his son passed away in an accident.
Hafej concluded: "After prayers we all pray for his son, we pray so God heals Hazi Saheb from this heavy pain and give jannat to his only son."
Commenters joined Hafej in praising Hazi and praying for him. Read some of their reactions below.
