-CAF President is in Ghana for 3-day working tour
-He will grace the final of the 2017 WAFU tournament
President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Dr Ahmad Ahmad has paid a courtesy call on Ghana's Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia at the Jubilee House in Accra.
Accompanied by members of CAF's Executive Committee, the visit forms part of Dr Ahmad's three-day working tour of Ghana.
Welcoming the delegation, Dr Bawumia assured "the Confederation of government's continued support in developing sports in Ghana".
The delegation was led by Ghana's FA President who doubles as CAF's 1st Vice President , Kwesi Nyantakyi.
The CAF President in a brief remark thanked the government of Ghana for its crucial role in developing football in Africa.
While in Ghana Dr Ahmad is expected to chair a CAF Executive Committee meeting which will be held in Accra on Saturday.
He and his delegation will also attend final match of the 2017 WAFU Cup of Nations between Ghana and Nigeria in Cape Coast on Sunday.
