Shatta Wale brushes off affair allegations with US based Ghanaian actress

Ghanaian dance hall artist Charles Nii Armah, better known by his showbiz name Shatta Wale, has responded to social media rumors of an affair with Ghanaian actress Efya Odo.

Earlier this week social media lit up with a photo of Ghana's self-styled dance hall king, Shatta Wale allegedly in bed with US based Ghanaian actress, Efya Odo surfaced.

The photo, reportedly culled from one of the Ghanaian actress's Snapchat video's, showed Shatta Wale reclined with only a small piece of Efya Odo's face visible in the shot.

Now in a recent Facebook live video, the popular dance hall artist related that he doesn't really take it personally when some say certain things about him since - according to him - they don't really know him.

In his video, Shatta Wale expresses that social media is a powerful tool, and that people ought to use it wisely. He also cautioned people from taking things personally, saying that when people say things about him on social media, he didn't take it to heart..

"I wake up, I see bloggers, they write a whole lot of things that can effect... if it was someone who wasn't strong, it could affect him and his family," he said, adding, "like they said they caught me and Efya Odo, uh, in bed and things, somewhere...You can't write stuff like that", he says.

Shatta goes on to say that no one could tell him that to his face, but when its on social media, or blogged then its fine for him. He says he actually likes it when people are talking about him, because when they're aren't talking about him he gets worried.

"Constantly, I want people to talk about me and things," he said.

Almost the entire video through, Shatta Wale emphasizes that people ought to use social media as a tool to better themselves and connect with like-minded individuals.
