Kwesi Pratt reveals place in U.S where Nkrumah is 'worshipped' like a god

Ace journalist and managing editor of The Insight Newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr, has compared the achievements of the nation’s first president, D. Kwame Nkrumah to that of renowned German physicist, Albert Einstein.

According to him, Nkrumah's works are unmatched and he is now a study subject in many African countries.

Kwesi Pratt who is a proud Nkrumahist, noted the first president is so well appreciated that an institute was founded in his name in South Africa, to study his his ideologies and it is called the Kwame Nkrumah Ideological Institute.

Speaking on Peace FM’s Kokrokoo show, Mr Pratt stated: “Nkrumah is in the Einstein, Karl Marx and so on (category). That is the category he belongs to. So, for me, the thing about whether or not he’s the founder is waste of time; complete waste of time. He’s among five of the most influential people in the world over a 1000 years.”

He further disclosed that on a recent trip to the United States, he discovered an area in the city of Los Angeles where Dr. Nkrumah was revered ‘as a god.’
