- The Nigerian football legend wants the two players to sort things out themselves
- Okocha also believes that Neymar's move to PSG is a good one for the Brazilian
Nigerian football legend and former Paris-Saint-Germain star Austin Okocha has reacted to the latest rivalry between Brazilian star Neymar and Edinson Cavani at PSG.
The names of these two players have dominated all headlines since they had a row on the pitch in their club's win over bitter rivals Lyon.
Okocha who enjoyed most of his playing career at PSG explained that Neymar and his teammate Edinson Cavani are matured enough to go for truce.
“It’s healthy competition, and It’s always good to have more than one player who can take free-kicks or penalties.
“At the end of the day, it happens in almost every team. You just have to negotiate and say. You take the first one, I take the second one.
“It’s all about the team and winning matches. It can be negotiated. Each player has got his best spot, so you know that if it’s in that area, you’re definitely taking it,'' Okocha explained.
