- President of the republic has been slammed by the opposition NDC for his "large delegation" to the UN

The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is claiming that President Akufo-Addo took over a 100 delegates to the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) at New York in the USA.
According to the twitter handle of the party, Nana Addo took with him in excess of 197 delegates to the conference - a claim the party believes is waste of public funds.
The NDC has also claimed how these delegates even included the sisters-in-law of the president and other family and friends.
The UNGA has generally been seen as a successful moment for president of the republic considering the fact that it was his very first presentation as leader of Ghana.
