- NDC serial caller, Appiah Stadium, has been arrested by police in the Ashanti Region
- The cause of his arrest is unknown but claims have it that he may be due to his tagging of the president as a drug addict
It has emerged that one of the most popular serial callers of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Frank Kwaku Appiah, has been arrested by police officials in the Ashanti Region.
Unconfirmed reports do claim that the serial caller was arrested after allegedly tagging President Akufo-Addo a ‘drug addict’ thus leaving him in the custody of the Kumasi Central Station assisting with investigations.
The statements by Appiah Stadium has not only seen him render an unqualified apology to the president but also have his allegations voiced out by the general secretary of the NDC – Asiedu Nketia – who maintains that the president indeed is a drug addict.
According to the general secretary, he has the strong conviction that the president smokes weed to get him active in his duties as head of state.
Speaking on what may have premised his argument, Asiedu Nketiah argued that the failure of the president to redeem him image since the Wikileaks report which claimed he, Nana Addo “woke up in a cloud of smoke each morning” is clear indication that he is an avid drug user.
According to this Wikileaks report by the former United States Ambassador to Ghana, Pamela Bridgewater, Nana Addo is an avid drug user.
