Unconfirmed reports do claim that the serial caller was arrested after allegedly tagging President Akufo-Addo a ‘drug addict’ thus leaving him in the custody of the Kumasi Central Station assisting with investigations.

The statements by Appiah Stadium has not only seen him render an unqualified apology to the president but also have his allegations voiced out by the general secretary of the NDC – Asiedu Nketia – who maintains that the president indeed is a drug addict.

According to the general secretary, he has the strong conviction that the president smokes weed to get him active in his duties as head of state.

Speaking on what may have premised his argument, Asiedu Nketiah argued that the failure of the president to redeem him image since the Wikileaks report which claimed he, Nana Addo “woke up in a cloud of smoke each morning” is clear indication that he is an avid drug user.
