A jetliner suffered suffered severe damage to its nose after colliding with a flock of birds head on September 24.
Dramatic pictures have surfaced online showing the extent of the damage on the Boeing 737 left by the mid-air impact.
The Badr Airlines flight J4341 had just taken off from Ad Damazeen to Khartoum International Airport in Sudan.
Given the fact that the damage was just meters from the pilots' cockpit, it's a miracle that the pilots managed to land the plane safely.
Other images showed several dead birds inside the crumpled nose of the plane.
There were no reported injuries among the flight's passengers or crew.
