- Edinson Cavani may be heading to Premier League club Chelsea in January 2018
- Chelsea are said to be ready to offer him a mega deal to bring him to England
- His future at French club PSG is in doubt following the row he had with Neymar
Premier League club Chelsea are now reportedly targeting Paris-Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani for the possibility of bringing the player to Stamford Bridge.
According to media reports, Chelsea are considering making a mega million offer to PSG for them to sign the Uruguayan star in the January 2018 transfer window.
Cavani's future at Paris-Saint-Germain is in serious doubt following a recent row between the 30-year-old player with teammate Neymar.
Cavani has also refused a £880,000 offer to step aside and let the Brazilian take penalties and the odds have shortened on him leaving in the next window.
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is said to be interested in working with Cavani at Stamford Bridge when the next transfer window opens as the Italian tactician wants him to replace Diego Costa.
Diego Costa has left Chelsea for a move to Spanish side Atletico Madrid, but he has not been missed by Blues' fans as Spaniard Alvaro Morata has been superb for Chelsea.
