- Ghana’s topmost human resource consultant, Ellen Hagan, is using a doctorate degree acquired from an unaccredited institution
- In an interaction with the award-winning human resource expert in her office, she could not articulate clearly what her doctoral thesis was about
Founder and CEO of Ghanaian Human Resource (HR) consultancy and recruitment agency L’aine Services Limited, 'Dr' Ellen Hagan reportedly possesses a fake doctorate degree from an unaccredited institution.
Investigations by Ghanabusinessnews.com indicate that the HR consultant's doctorate degree from the Pan African Bible Seminary (PABS) cannot be legitimate since the institution is not accredited by the Accreditations Board.

'Dr' Hagan currently holds a PhD in Humanities from the Pan African Bible Seminary (PABS) - per the information available on her profile and on her website - which she claims she acquired in 2011 or 2013.
However, Ghanabusinessnews.com reports that upon interactions with the resource expert, she could not readily disclose what her doctoral thesis was about, instead explaining that it was focused on the importance of marriage.
The report further suggests that the doctorate degree held by 'Dr' Hagan is not legitimate since the institution she acquired it from, the Pan African Bible Seminary (PABS) is not accredited by the National Accreditations Board in Ghana.
Vice Chancellor of the PABS, Frederick Akakpo disclosed that the institution ceased offering Humanitarian programmes in 2014 after being blacklisted by the accreditation board.

“The accreditation board has come out with some guidelines and that is what we are doing now. From that time they came out with that statement, we have held on our [Humanities] programmes," he is quoted as saying by Ghanabusinessnews.com.
"They said we are not accredited locally and if our institution wants to operate in Ghana, [we] have to go through the National Accreditation Board. So we have respected their regime and since they came out with that ruling, we are not working on that Humanities courses anymore. We are strictly working with our religious courses now.”
Despite Mr Akapko claiming that 'Dr' Hagan acquired her doctorate degree in 2014, at a time when the PABS had an international accreditation from the Association of Independent Christian Colleges and Seminaries (AICCS) in the United States, checks by Ghanabusinessnews.com suggests that the AICCS is also not accredited in the US.
The above findings, via Ghanabusinessnews.com, indicate that 'Dr' Ellen Hagan has been walking with a fake doctorate degree from an unaccredited institution for the past four year.
'Dr' Hagan is one of the topmost HR consultants and marriage counselors in Ghana and boasts of numerous personal awards, including the 2011 CIMG marketing woman of the year and the Yaa Asantewaa Award at the 2017 Exclusive Men of the Year awards.
