After six games played this season in England, Premier League club Manchester City have been hit with a severe blow following the injury sustained by defender Benjamin Mendy.
Benjamin Mendy, 23, sustained a serious injury in Manchester City's win over Crystal Palace on Saturday, September 23, and the Frenchman has already seen a specialist in Barcelona.
According to reports, the specialist Ramon Cugan has told Manchester City chiefs that Benjamin Mendy could be out of action for the next nine months.
The latest development will however come as a setback for Manchester City who are currently topping the Premier League standings with 16 points.
Since his mega to Manchester City from French club Monaco, Mendy has been superb in the defense department this season for the Premier League club.
