Ghanaian actor and screen heartthrob, Chris Attoh has, since confirming his divorce from Nigerian actress, Damilola Adegbite, been trying to speak on the matter in the most matured and reserved manner as possible.

While speaking on the Accra-based Starr FM with Bola Ray, the actor stated that women must trust their husbands for their marriages to survive.

"I think that we have forgotten about the fundamentals of marriage", the actor stated.

He continued that women need to trust their partner to establish peace in their homes.

"As a woman you need to trust the captain of the ship. It’s truly important if you want peace in your home," Chris Attoh stated.

The Tinsel actor, however, dis not establish that his marriage to Damilola which lasted barely two years, crashed due to a lack of trust on his ex-wife's part.

"If you are a Christian, it is your bible that will take you through your wedding days. Everything happens for a reason. I have a beautiful baby boy, a wealth of experience and a lot of work to do,” he said.
