- Montie FM has had its license revoked after failing to pay for their license
- The NCA has warned that hundred other radio stations are bound to face the same development
The National Communications Authority (NCA) has shut down Montie FM and other radio stations for failure to pay their licenses.
The station was off air on Wednesday around 3pm with other radio stations as Radio Gold plus many others also feared to be on the waiting list of being sanctioned.
YEN is gathering that several other radio stations have been given until the end of the month to either pay off their debts or risk losing the licenses completely.
Meanwhile, the NCA has revealed that many more radio stations across the country stand the chance of suffering the closure by their stations especially when they have been warned to pay their claims for over a year now.
