A presidential staffer by the name of Nii Teiko Tagoe has stated revealed that the embattled musician Kwame Asare Obeng, popular known by his show business name, Kwame A Plus, is the source of a popular audio recording where A Plus is heard speaking to a a voice believe to be that of ACP Maame Tiwaa Addo-Danquah.
The release of a recorded telephone call where a voice believed to be that of ACP Maame Tiwaa Addo-Danquah is heard asking another believed to be A Plus to "manage" a situation concerning an investigation the former was conducting, accusations have flown helter-skelter.
On the one hand, Kwame A Plus has categorically denied either making the recording, doctoring it, or releasing it into the public domain. While on the other hand, ACP Maame Tiwaa Addo-Danquah has said that though she had spoken to Kwame A Plus over the phone, she maintained that the recording has been doctored in some manner.

Now in a new turn of events, Mr. Nii Taiko Tagoe, a presidential staffer at the Flagstaff House, has stated that the Kwame A Plus is in indeed the true originator of the audio file.
Speaking with Adom FM, Nii Teiko Tagoe related that Kwame A Plus sent him the scandalous audio recording while he was with President Akufo Addo's delegation to the 72nd session of the UN's General Assembly last week.

According to Nii Teiko Tagoe, he asked Kwame A Plus to if he could forward the audio tape to the NPP's Sammy Awuku, who together with Nii Teiko Tagoe begged Kwame A Plus not to release the said audio recording.
He [Nii Teiko] was later astonished when he was rather accused of leaking the tape, especially in light of previous conversations both he and Sammy Awuku had with Kwame A Plus.
Nii Teiko stated that upon confronting Kwame A Plus, he [A Plus] told Nii Teiko that a friend had told him [A Plus] that Ni Teiko was the one who released the audio over Whatsapp.
According to Nii Teiko Tagoe, his asking Kwame A Plus not to release the tape was not because he wanted to cover things up, but rather because he felt the issue ought to have been solved within the governing party.
