YEN.com.gh has learnt that Ghanaian dancehall act, Livingstone Etse Satekla, better known by his stage name, Stonebwoy was attacked by some assailants just minutes before going on stage at his "Ashaiman To the World" concert.
Stonebwoy, who was the headline act for the show would have missed the event had the attack being successful.
The musician took to the social network, Facebook to detail how the attack unfolded.
According to Stonebwoy's post on Facebook, his tent was cut some unknown elements with a knife, supposedly in an attempt to harm him.
His post continued that, though he was missed by the assailants, his wife, Louisa Satekla, was at the receiving end of the attack, unfortunately.
Louisa was reportedly slashed by the knife at her back and subsequently rushed to the hospital.
Stonebwoy went ahead to perform just to make his fans happy and according to a report by Zionfelix.net, boss rushed to the hospital minutes after his full performance at the Ashaiman To The World Concert.
The concert has, however, been hailed as a complete success by many attendees and critics.
It would look like the incident, though a close encounter, did not mar the fun and happiness at the event grounds.
YEN.com.gh also reported on how Shatta Wale had kept to his words and joined Stonebwoy on stage at the event to perform together.
