Noted Kumawood actor, Kwaku Manu has bemoaned the loss of patronage of his school, due to the efforts of unnamed individuals who are trying to destroy his hard work.
According to him, the people who share the same environment in which his school, the Kwaku Manu Educational Complex is located, have badmouthed him and his facility, discouraging parents and guardians from enrolling their wards in his school.
Kwaku Manu disclosed that his recent travels to the United States for example, has been used as an example of financial misappropriation by these saboteurs to insinuate that he uses school fees to fund his trips.
He said he was shocked to learn that parents are withdrawing their wards from the school, due to the belief that he is supporting his trips abroad with the fees paid to the school.
However the actor debunked the gossip, stating that school even owed him close to GHC 10,000.
He added that some parents who even owe the school have been allowed to push their wards to the next class so they don’t stay behind their mates.
Kwaku Manu, aside the educational complex and his successful acting career has other entrepreneurial ventures he engages in.
