A Bangladeshi man has shared the anguish of losing the love of his life after earlier being in a loveless marriage.
Abdul Razzak narrated his story to photojournalist GMB Akash, who then shared it on his Facebook page.
Razzak began by saying: "I got married at a very young age because of my mother's last wish before she died. I was living a married life but I never knew what love was."
Although he had a son with his first wife, he was still unhappy in the marriage.
He then met Ratna and they fell in love with each other. He said: "We were like soul mates. I loved her more than anything. May be more than my life."
When he informed his wife about it, she left him and took along their son. He then got married to Ratna and together they had a child. However, she suddenly passed away in an accident.
Razzak said he really misses her: "I am so lonely without my wife. During the whole day I try to keep myself busy with work. I miss Ratna everywhere I go; every single second I see her, I feel her presence everywhere."
His story touched many readers and stirred some debate. See some reactions below.
