Last weekend, YEN.com.gh reported that Bill Asamoah had resorted to legal action against Kumawood actor Christian Akwasi Asamoah for purporting that he was sleeping with Maame Serwaa. Lawyers of the actor had gone on ahead to serve Big Akwes with a notice drawing his attention to his comments and requested an unqualified apology.

Big Akwes, upon receiving the notice went on radio and indicated that he had made up the story about Bill Asamoah and Maame Serwaa and apologized to his colleague and his family for his defamatory comments.
