- The Gunners want to sell him next January for them not to lose him for free
Premier League club Arsenal have reportedly agreed to sell Chilean international striker Alexis Sanchez when the January 2018 transfer window opens.
According to the fresh reports, Arsenal board are scared of losing the former Barcelona star for free when his contracts expires at the Emirates Stadium at the end of the ongoing season.
Sanchez has refused to commit his future to the Gunners as he almost joined rivals Manchester City during the last summer transfer.
The 28-year-old was said to be livid with the Gunners inability to finish among the top four teams last season in the Premier League.
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has identified Sanchez as the player the Citizens need in January, and has vowed to do all his best to bring him to the Etihad.
French club Paris-Saint-Germain have also held talks with Sanchez, while Neymar also wants the Arsenal forward to join him at the club after his arrival from Barcelona for a world-record fee.
