Ghanaian award-winning actor turned pastor, Majid Michel is steadily climbing the ladder to becoming a well-noted man of God.
In the last few months, Majid has led many worship and prayer sessions in front of different congregations across West Africa.
He’s been seen performing miracles and holding deliverance services for people, and uses his social platforms to spread the good gospel as often as he can.
Majid recently touched on the topic of tithing; the acting of giving 10% of a Christian's earnings voluntarily to the church.
According to Majid, Christians are not ‘giving’ God a tithe, they are ‘paying’ God, as tithes are taxes.
He explained that the tithe is for the poor and needy, as well as to support the church in building its fellowship with adequate facilities.
“What we fail to realize is that God doesn't need Your money. The church does. God is looking at your heart and loves a cheerful giver. if the church expenditure of money received is your issue, then address that. Don't address giving to the Church. if you do your part, God will do his part ACCORDiNG to His PROMiSE,” the actor posted.
Majid recently disclosed his teenage battle with masturbation, urging the youth to acknowledge it as a sinful act and desist from it.
He further revealed that he has been led by the Holy Spirit to perform various miracles including healing blindness.
